Plantiga for Sport and Return to Play

After spending 3+ years working with the world’s top organizations (and their athletes) across all major league sport organizations in North America, the US and Canadian militaries, and sport associations around the world, we are now launching our Plantiga platform for Sport Performance and Injury.

Measure What Matters. Measure Where it Matters.

Our lab-grade tech, movement analysis, sport science, and evidence-based care provide teams with an all-in-one solution to monitor athlete performance and movement health after injury.

Our system is so much more than a wearable device. Our users join a community of like-minded practitioners, coaches, and sports scientists driven to help athletes have longer athletic careers and healthier lives.

We place the athlete at the center of everything we do through dedicated data validation and analysis tools, so that our users can understand their athletes’ biomechanics and apply the data to their unique performance goals. We know that data-driven decision-making improves outcomes and that the future of injury prevention and performance is personalized and proactive.

Because human movement is so complex, we use AI as a powerful tool to decode it. For example, our sensor insoles capture over 4,000 data points during one step. When applied to that data, AI allows us to conduct a detailed comparison of movement patterns across individuals and athletic populations.

Along this line, one of the algorithms we’ve developed compares non-injured and injured walking data and flags “higher risk” gait patterns so that coaches and trainers can look more closely, to potentially intervene before issues arise. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have a lot more in the works too.

By developing our AI recommendation engine (aptly named Norman after Plantiga’s co-founder and CEO Quin’s late father), we are ushering in a new era in athlete performance monitoring and health. We are developing the next frontier in personalized and proactive health and performance: human movement intelligence.

Expert Insights

Norman, our digital movement coach, is advancing and servicing insights to our users. When more support is required, though, that’s where our network of industry experts comes in.

Coupling the data with education is where the magic happens. We have built a network of skilled experts, including strength and conditioning coaches, sports scientists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, biomechanists, exercise physiologists, and more. Our users can tap into this community whenever they need more support.

We are here to help. Reach out to support@plantiga.com anytime.
