QUIN SANDLER, Chief Executive Officer

Quin has been a serial entrepreneur for most of his life. While attending Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada, Quin started Keystone Learning, a tutoring and teaching company focusing on a proprietary set of teaching techniques developed by Mr. Sandler. The company grew to 5 employees, and operated throughout the Lower Mainland.

Later he founded the Principle Design Group (PDG), a successful branding and identity company, focused on businesses in arts and entertainment, among others. Engaging in web design, branding and identity, marketing strategies and execution, Quin built PDG into a successful business with many happy clients.

Quin has strong communication skills, demonstrated experience in project management, business and product development, operations, marketing and sales, as well as web development.

NORMAN MCKAY, Chief Science Officer

As Chief Science Officer, Norman is responsible for directing the course of development. Over the past 25 years Mr. McKay has worked in the areas of mechanical engineering, identity management, web design and development, marketing and sales as well as operations.

Norman founded Technical Web, a Vancouver pioneer in interactive web and software development. This Company worked on vendor and user analytics associated with macro web searching.

Aside from this own endeavors, Norman has consulted with various companies on topics related to mechanical engineering, building processes, industrial design and systems design. Norman has also worked in macro architecture, information technology, application innovation and identity research. His vision for a safer world is a driving force for Plantiga.

RICHARD JENKINS, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jenkins is responsible for corporate strategy and execution as well as day to day operations. Since leaving the Royal Navy, Richard has had a successful corporate and entrepreneurial career. Richard has spent the majority of twenty years in and around the technology industry including enterprise software, online and corporate rich-media, IPTV and large project resourcing. He has also published two strategy books for the Consumer Goods & Retail market and in Performance Management for the F2000.

Richard brings over 20 years of technology industry experience which has led him to work in Asia, North America and Europe. With companies such as American Express, IBM/Tivoli, RealNetworks and Crystal Decisions, Richard has developed a successful business development strategy and executed these on a worldwide basis.

Richard’s most valuable asset is in his ability to rapidly understand a company’s or product’s market potential, how to structure and communicate that, and unique thinking which improves its competitiveness.

Since selling his first startup in 1997, Richard has successfully built and sold his own companies as well as advising and mentoring other ventures. A fast thinker who provides pragmatic, energiziing and successful strategy and tactics, Richard has a reputation for “no nonsense” execution, accurate and cost-effective delivery and as an ambassador for those companies he consults, advises and mentors for.

BRIAN JAMES TRACEY, Senior Vice President of Footwear

As Senior Vice President of Footwear, Mr. Tracey brings a wealth of experience in footwear. Mr. Tracey owns and operates Footworkz Pte. Ltd., a multifaceted private practice specializing in Podiatric Sports & Military Medicine since 1998.

As a highly trained Sports Physiotherapist, Kinesiologist and Biomechanist, he has worked extensively with Military. Olympic Teams & Organizing Committees, and International Sport & Athletic Organizations for over 20 years.

He has been involved, in various capacities, with ASICS, New Balance, Clarks, and Dr.Scholls, as well as being a Director of a Sports/Military footwear company, Sportiv Tech Lab Pte, Ltd, winner of the 2003 E-Global Emerging Enterprise Award, where he was responsible for the design of Military/School footwear. Brian was also a 2006 and 2008 Nominee for the Singapore 'Spirit of Enterprise' Awards, and was the Chairman for the NYACC 'Singapore Mile".

He has acted as a consultant to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)- SAFTI Military Institute; Singapore Navy Diving Unit (SND); Commandos; Maritime Security Task Force; School of Military Medicine- Medical Response Force (MRF 6th Division); Singapore Infantry Specialists (SISPEC); School of Basic Military Training (BMT); SAFRA Biathalon; Asian PGA Tour; Singapore International Marathon, among many others.

DAVID HULL, International Business Development

David works as the International Business Development representative for Plantiga.

David's knowledge of finance and extensive network of professional contacts in the financial sector has proved successful in driving product-centric technology companies to revenue.  

Prior to arriving in Vancouver, David completed a Masters of Science in Energy Trade and Finance from the Cass Business School in London (UK) and has worked in Investment Banking departments for institutions such as Fortis Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
