1Grid™ Biometric Security

Like an individual's DNA, every person walks differently. Using the likes of foot plates, cameras and footwear, biomechanical patterns can be recorded, which are shown to be similar to strings of DNA.

Instrumented pTiga™ footwear, once assigned to a wearer, wirelessly transmits a timed-pattern from the footwear, and records that under the individual’s profile. This unobtrusive security system allows for constant monitoring and immediate auditing.

Real-time, Facility Wide Security

When worn by an individual, pTiga™ footwear monitors a number of Plantiga identified biomechanical parameters.

Almost all existing biometric approaches rely on specific points of authentication, which is to say that individuals can be identified and authenticated only where the reader exists. 

Plantiga can authenticate wherever the user is, whether standing, sitting, walking or running - throughout a given facility.

Personnel Audit

The constant generation of data from instrumented pTiga™ footwear enables the 1Grid system to biometrically tag most any type of activity.

It can help the properly authorized to control the opening and closing of doors, create a log for the walkways travelled along and the rooms visited, and make a note of every folder, document, and network accessed.

Time and Attendance

The 1Grid™ system can verify a person at multiple times within, for example, a minute. Now, all of an individual’s activity will have their biometric tags attached.

Plantiga-enabled accountability can provide an audit trail that covers who somebody is, what they are doing, when they did it, and where they did it. No other biometric technology today can offer these advantages.
